13th Agreement of the Folklore Festivals of Western Poland

Today, October 23, there were meeting of the 13th Agreement of the Folklore Festivals of Western Poland https://www.folklorefestivals.pl/, this time in online form. The organizer was Maria Szupiluk, artistic director of IDF "FOLK HARBOR" in Gorzów Wlkp. and Director of FIDAF in Europe. The meeting was attended by representatives of cooperating cultural centres, festivals, folk groups:

GOLENIÓW - IFM "NAD INĄ",

GORZÓW WLKP. - IDF "FOLK HARBOR"

LEGNICA - IFF "THE WORLD UNDER KYCZERA"

POZNAŃ - ICFF "KIDS FUN FOLK"

PYRZYCE - PYRZYCE MEETINGS WITH FOLKLORE

ZIELONA GÓRA - IFF "FACES OF TRADITION"

and invited guests: director of culture centre in Kozielice, director of IFF "NOWA RUDA" from Nowa Ruda, director of IFF "ROZTOCZE" from Tomaszów Lubelski.

Cyclical meetings of AFFWP representatives are primarily aimed at exchanging experiences and current information on the organized festivals.

This year's pandemic caused that most of the festivals did not take place, two of them took the online or hybrid form, some of the centres focused on promoting folklore online.
