WHO ARE WE AND WHAT DO WE DO ?
The agreement is an undertaking consisting of the festivals of folklore organised on the area of Western Poland. The current members of the agreement are the organisers of festivals:
- International Festival „MEETINGS WITH FOLKLORE” in Pyrzyce,
- International Children’s Folk Festival „KIDS FUN FOLK” in Poznań,
- International Dance Festival „FOLK HARBOR” in Gorzów Wielkopolski,
- International Festival of Folklore „FACES OF TRADITION” in Zielona Góra,
- International Folk Meetings „ON THE INA RIVER” in Goleniów,
- International Folklore Festival „THE WORLD UNDER THE KYCZERA” in Legnica.
IDEA
The aim of the Agreement is reviving the form of the folklore festivals in the Western Poland and marking out new ways of the development to popularize the immaterial cultural heritage.
The aim of the Agreement is realised by:
- the exchange of information, knowledge and experience to raise the programme and artistic level of the Festivals,
- a mutual aid in acquiring of the ensembles and their exchange among the Festivals,
- leading promotional and information activity,
- initiating and carrying out of the partner projects.
