International Festival MEETINGS WITH FOLKLORE – Pyrzyce
The source of Pyrzyckie Spotkania z Folklorem (Pyrzyce Folk Meetings) was the desire to create the new, common identity of people who came to the region of Pyrzyce after II WW. Currently, the main aim of the festival is to revive, popularize and activate groups that cultivate folk traditions in dance, music, singing, handicraft or regional and national cuisine. Pyrzyce Folk Meetings attempt to combine the tradition with the contemporary expression_s of folklore. The stage in Pyrzyce will host the artists creating contemporary music inspired by folk culture.
